Theory of RPS Cricket

A high-speed camera captures the same images that are captured by a Hawkeye System in the process of calculating RPS Cricket. An upper limit of 3000 revolutions per minute gives about 50 revolutions per second or RPS Cricket.

The Doppler Radar is another incredible device used in cricket to measure the rotations of the ball. Doppler radar is a special radar that emits energy in pules and listens for any returned signal. They are being implemented in cricket venues around the world to track the trajectory of balls.

 

Out of all the technologies, the Doppler Radar comes closest to estimating the RPM of cricket balls. A Doppler Radar uses the Doppler Effect technology to calculate the velocity of a moving object.

 

An exciting feature of the Doppler Radar when it comes to measuring the RPS Cricket is that it uses microwave signals. It then analyzes the moving object’s motion to check how it has changed or altered the frequency.
